Soccer Recap: Strong Rock Christian Gets the Win

Strong Rock Christian took a six-goal loss the last time they faced off against Calvary Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Patriots narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Knights 2-1. This was a revenge game for Strong Rock Christian: when they faced off against Calvary Christian back in April, they had to take a 7-1 defeat.

Rene Scott and Gabe Hess scored both of Strong Rock Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

Strong Rock Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Calvary Christian, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-6-1.

Strong Rock Christian didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Riverside Military Academy on the 9th. As for Calvary Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 7-0 victory against Mount de Sales Academy on the 10th.
