Soccer Game Preview: Tehachapi vs. South

The Tehachapi Warriors will challenge the South Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Tehachapi will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Tehachapi sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Golden Valley.

Meanwhile, South hasn't lost a match since December 20, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game last Wednesday. Neither they nor East Bakersfield could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Tehachapi's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 43 goals over those seven contests. South's draw makes their record 8-5-4 this season.
