Softball Recap: O'neill Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for O'Neill, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the Pierce Bluejays 11-0 on Saturday. Considering the Eagles have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Grace Drueke was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three runs. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dani Rowse, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

O'Neill now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Pierce, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

O'Neill wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 5-4 win against Guardian Angels Central Catholic on the 23rd. As for Pierce, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-3 defeat against Twin River on the 23rd.
