Softball Recap: Caney Gets the Win

Caney was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Mooreland on Friday. The Cougars never let the Bearcats get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Cougars have won three games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Caney now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Mooreland, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Caney will head out to challenge Coleman at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mooreland, they will venture away from home to square off against Turpin at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
