Basketball Recap: Thomas A. Edison Comes Up Short

Thomas A. Edison was the 62-17 winner over Nueva Esperanza when they last played one another back in January of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Thomas A. Edison Owls fell just short of Nueva Esperanza by a score of 41-39 on Friday. The Owls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Thomas A. Edison's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Nueva Esperanza, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thomas A. Edison will welcome Samuel Fels at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Samuel Fels will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Thomas A. Edison surely won't give up without a fight. As for Nueva Esperanza, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Philadelphia Military Academy at 3:15 p.m. Philadelphia Military Academy's defense has only allowed 27.7 points per game this season, so Nueva Esperanza's offense will have their work cut out for them.
