Recap: Homer-Center Wildcats vs. Cambria Heights Highlanders

The Homer-Center Wildcats were the 51-32 winner over the Cambria Heights Highlanders when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Homer-Center fell to the Highlanders 60-54. Homer-Center has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cambria Heights got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kinley Rogal out in front who scored 16 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rogal has scored all season. Sienna Kirsch was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Homer-Center has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Cambria Heights, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Homer-Center will head out on the road to face off against the Red Dragons at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Cambria Heights, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Lions at 7:15 p.m. on January 30th. United is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
