Basketball Game Preview: Ripon Indians vs. Manteca Buffaloes

Having just played yesterday, the Ripon Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Manteca Buffaloes at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Ripon will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Ripon's tournament run continued when they took on Tokay on Friday. Ripon snuck past Tokay with a 32-28 win.

Meanwhile, Manteca posted their closest victory since November 30th on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 32-29 win over Pacheco.

Ripon better keep an eye on Michailla Springs. She was instrumental in Manteca's win, putting up 16 points in addition to six steals and five boards. Those six steals gave Springs a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaesha Dunn, who posted six points and six steals.

Ripon's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-7. As for Manteca, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.
