Plant is 1-9 against Bloomingdale since March of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. On the hitting side, Kate Compton was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Adeline Stephens, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Compton wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Plant kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. Plant is a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, Bloomingdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wakulla.

Marley Boucher made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.

Plant's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 6.5 runs. As for Bloomingdale, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Both Plant and Bloomingdale just can't seem to miss. Plant has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.8 hits per game. However, it's not like Bloomingdale struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.1 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
