Independence won the last time they faced East Bakersfield and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Falcons enjoyed a cozy 39-25 win over the Blades.

Independence was led to victory by Madison Harrold and Ka'Rayah Robertson. Harrold dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards, while Robertson dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. That's the most points Harrold has posted since back in November of 2024. Emily Caldera also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.
