Recap: Ganesha vs. Vasquez
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Ganesha Giants had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the Mustangs out 3-2. Winning may never get old, but Ganesha sure is getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
They hit Vasquez with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Julianna Nava,
Valerie Flores, and
Leila Belteton.
Ganesha is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Vasquez, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.
Ganesha will take on Pacific at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ganesha is coming into the match with six straight victories on the road, so Pacific is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. Vasquez does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
