Basketball Recap: Rubidoux Comes Up Short

Rubidoux played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 52-10 defeat at the hands of the Ramona Rams. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-6.

Ramona's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Olivia Molina, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards. The game was Molina's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Jaiden Tibbels was another key player, going 5 of 12 on her way to 13 points and four steals.

Rubidoux has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Ramona, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-3.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Rubidoux Falcons challenge the La Sierra Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ramona, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Los Osos at 4:30 p.m.
