Softball Game Preview: East Hall Vikings vs. Jefferson Dragons

East Hall is 2-8 against Jefferson since September of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Vikings will challenge the Dragons at 5:30 p.m. East Hall has given up an average of 8.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cherokee Bluff hit East Hall with a eight-run third inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Vikings lost 15-2 to the Bears.

Meanwhile, Jefferson came tearing into last Monday's matchup with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Red Raiders.

East Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to 19-1.

East Hall suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Jefferson in their previous matchup on September 11th. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
