Football Recap: Mount Miguel Starts off Right with Win over San Marcos + How To Watch

Mount Miguel had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They slipped by the San Marcos Knights 28-27 on Friday.

Mount Miguel didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Leading the way was Delontay Williams and his one interception.

Despite the loss, San Marcos still got an impressive performance from Zamar Reese, who rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 46 receiving yards.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Miguel will face off against La Costa Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Marcos, they will challenge Tesoro at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
