Basketball Recap: Canon-McMillan Find Success

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Canon-McMillan walked away with it. They secured a 48-44 W over the Taylor Allderdice Dragons on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Big Macs.

Madison Clair had a dynamite game for Canon-McMillan, going 10-for-18 on her way to 21 points and five rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Clair has scored at least a third of Canon-McMillan's points. Another player making a difference was Izabella Bobitski, who posted ten points.

Canon-McMillan was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They are 15-5 when they've passed the ball that well.

Canon-McMillan's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Taylor Allderdice, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-6.

Canon-McMillan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 46-32 defeat against Upper St. Clair on the 11th. Taylor Allderdice does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
