Baseball Recap: Lamar County Comes Up Short

Lamar County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jackson Red Devils. Trojans fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Red Devils since Tuesday.

Lamar County's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Jackson, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-4 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lamar County will head out to face off against Washington County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jackson, they will face off against Crisp County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
