Recap: Linsly Cadets vs. Washington Tigers

The Linsly Cadets put another one in the bag on Sunday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 60-52 victory over Washington.

When it comes to explaining why Washington lost, one person who can't be blamed is Chris Knight. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points along with eight rebounds. The game was Knight's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Xavier Williams, who scored nine points along with three steals.

Linsly's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.

Linsly will be playing in front of their home fans against Weir at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Weir will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps West Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 516th, while Linsly is ranked first). Washington will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against John Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th. John Marshall is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
