Baseball Game Preview: Grace Christian Academy Cougars vs. Fullington Academy Trojans

Grace Christian Academy is 7-2 against Fullington Academy since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cougars will look to defend their home field against the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Grace Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Grace Christian Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Fullington Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Cougars never let the Trojans get on the board and left with an 11-0 win on Thursday. Keith Eidson and Aiden Whittaker were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing, Eidson pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Whittaker struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in eight consecutive appearances. At the plate, Eidson scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3, while Whittaker scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Those three runs gave Whittaker a new career-high.

In other batting news, Daniel Johnson was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Noah Smith, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.

Grace Christian Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3.
