Football Recap: Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were outmatched by the Paynesville Bulldogs and fell 46-8. The Fighting Saints were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Mason Hansen was a one-man wrecking crew For Paynesville. as he rushed for 102 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 132 yards and one TD on only 11 passes. The dominant performance also gave Hansen a new career-high in passer rating (127.8).
