Football Recap: Pelion Panthers vs. Strom Thurmond Rebels
Pelion had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 4-4 to make it four. They took a blow against the Strom Thurmond Rebels, falling 61-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.
Alan Moore threw for 68 yards on ten of 22 attempts.
As for Strom Thurmond, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 22 points or more this season.
