It's playoff time, and Memorial had no trouble coming through when it counted. They won by a run and slipped past the Elida Bulldogs 2-1. That's two games straight that the Roughriders have won by just one run.

Memorial's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-8. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Elida, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-9.

Looking ahead, Memorial will take on Perkins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Roughriders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season. Elida does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
