Basketball Recap: St. Bernard's Crusaders vs. Trinity Wolves
The St. Bernard's Crusaders can now show off 14 landslide victories after their most recent match on Saturday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 52-15 victory over Trinity. With St. Bernard's ahead 26-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.
St. Bernard's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Laila Florvilus, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Madelyn Shanahan, who scored 12 points.
St. Bernard's has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season. As for Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.
St. Bernard's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Trinity will head out on the road to square off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fall River will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
