Bixby lost to Yukon on September 11th, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Spartans came out on top against the Millers by a score of 8-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Lexi Goodsell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five runs (all of which were unearned) on nine hits.

At the plate, Teagan Standley was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Emme Friedrichsen, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Bixby's record is now 13-14. As for Yukon, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-10.

Coming up, Bixby will welcome Collinsville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Yukon, they will venture away from home to challenge Putnam City North at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
