Volleyball Recap: Floyd Takes a Loss

Floyd lost against Gateway Christian back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Broncos came up short against the Warriors, falling 3-0. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-19, 25-9.

Floyd's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Gateway Christian, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Floyd is set to challenge their familiar foe Lake Arthur at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Gateway Christian will square off against rival Elida at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
