New Mexico High School Volleyball - Gateway Christian over Floyd
October 9, 2025: Roswell, NM 88201 In Thursday's league challenge, the host Gateway Christian Warriors volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Floyd Broncos.
With the win, Gateway Christian advances its record to 10-3 on the season. The Warriors host Elida (Elida, NM) to face the Tigers in a 1A District 4 test on Tuesday, October 14. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 15-1. Elida lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Melrose (Melrose, NM)
Next, the Broncos play the Lake Arthur Panthers (Lake Arthur, NM) in a 1A District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. Floyd will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Dora (Dora, NM).
