Basketball Game Preview: MacDonald Condor vs. Gunn Titans

The MacDonald Condor will take on the Gunn Titans at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. MacDonald has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with seven straight losses, while Gunn will come in with seven straight wins.

MacDonald is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Saratoga on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. MacDonald had to suffer through a 48-6 loss at the hands of Saratoga. The Condor were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-3.

Meanwhile, Gunn had just enough and edged Mountain View out 38-35 on Friday. That's two games straight that the Titans have won by exactly three points.

Gunn pushed their record up to 16-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.8 points over those games. As for MacDonald, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-18.

MacDonald was taken down by Gunn 54-8 when the teams last played back in January. Can MacDonald avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
