Basketball Recap: Cornerstone Christian Comes Up Short

Cornerstone Christian and Faith Christian squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Cornerstone Christian had to settle for second. They fell to the Faith Christian Lions 58-53. The game was a 25-25 toss-up at halftime, but the Cougars couldn't quite close it out.

It was another big night for Lauren Harris, who dropped a double-double with 35 points and 14 boards for Faith Christian. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which Harris has scored at least a third of Faith Christian's points. Presley Berry was another key player, dropping a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds.

Cornerstone Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 21-11. As for Faith Christian, the win was the 21st in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 29-2.

As of now, neither Cornerstone Christian nor Faith Christian have any future games scheduled.
