Softball Recap: Screven County's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Evans hit Screven County with a four-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Gamecocks wound up with the same score they had in their last game (6-5), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Screven County fell to 2-1. As for Evans, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Screven County will welcome Jenkins County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Evans, they have already played their next match, a 14-2 win against Burke County on the 9th.
