Football Recap: Piedmont Academy Piles Up the Points Against Riverside Military Academy + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against George Walton Academy, Piedmont Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Riverside Military Academy Eagles, posting a 40-12 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Cougars needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Piedmont Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.5 points over those games. As for Riverside Military Academy, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Meanwhile, Riverside Military Academy will challenge rival George Walton Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: JJ Blackwell and Aj Dillard.
