Football Recap: Panorama Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Panorama and Fairfax squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Panorama had to settle for second. They were dealt a 55-22 defeat at the hands of the Lions. The Pythons' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Fairfax had a senior duo take command as Matthew Gonzalez threw for 296 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes and Isaac Andrews gained 164 total yards and three touchdowns. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 86 yards.

Panorama now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Fairfax, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.

Panorama does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fairfax, they will challenge University at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
