Basketball Recap: Cumberland Valley Eagles vs. Susquehanna Township HANNA
Cumberland Valley had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They enjoyed a cozy 55-36 victory over the Susquehanna Township HANNA. The Eagles pushed the score to 50-26 by the end of the third, a deficit the HANNA cut but never quite recovered from.
Cumberland Valley found their leader in freshman Gracie Sines, who went 10 for 14 en route to 27 points plus four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sienna Manns, who earned 12 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals.
Cumberland Valley will take on Dallastown in a tournament on Friday. Susquehanna Township has already played their next matchup (against Cumberland Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
