Softball Recap: Aquinas Monarchs vs. Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines
Aquinas kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 10-6 to the Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines. The Monarchs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.
Faith Samek made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Ainsley Wollmer was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
The win got Wilber-Clatonia back to even at 1-1.
