Softball Recap: Highway 6 Takes a Loss

Highway 6 lost against North Platte back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trailblazers came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 11-3. The Trailblazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Highway 6 saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Stella Birkestrand, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Neveah Browitt also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Highway 6's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for North Platte, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Highway 6 nor North Platte have any future games scheduled.
