Basketball Recap: Kerman Comes Up Short

Kerman lost against Mendota back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions took a 41-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aztecs. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Kerman's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Mendota, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Kerman and Sunnyside will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mendota, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Torres at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
