Baseball Recap: Vidalia Heritage Academy Takes a Loss

Vidalia Heritage Academy and Citizens Christian Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Vidalia Heritage Academy had to settle for second. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 8-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Vidalia Heritage Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddyx Herrin, who went 1-for-4 with one double.

Vidalia Heritage Academy's loss dropped their record down to 16-15. As for Citizens Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Vidalia Heritage Academy nor Citizens Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
