Softball Recap: Pawnee Has No Trouble Against Depew

Pawnee barely beat Depew the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Black Bears blew past the Hornets 10-2 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Black Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory made it two in a row for Pawnee and bumps their season record up to 9-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Depew, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Pawnee will welcome Hominy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Black Bears 3.8, the Bucks 0.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Depew, they will head out to square off against Mason at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
