Soccer Recap: Bloomfield Comes Up Short

After flying high against Kirtland Central last Tuesday, Bloomfield came back down to earth. The Bobcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aztec Tigers on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Aztec this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in September.

Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 9-6-1. As for Aztec, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Bloomfield has already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against Gallup on the 16th. As for Aztec, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 6-0 defeat against Los Alamos on the 18th.
