Baseball Game Preview: Loganville Christian Academy Lions vs. Riverside Military Academy Eagles

For the second straight game, Loganville Christian Academy will face off against Riverside Military Academy. Loganville Christian Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Riverside Military Academy get on the board and left with a 28-0 victory on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Easton Geren made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has become a key player for Loganville Christian Academy: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most two hits, but 1-8 otherwise. Geren was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two).

In other batting news, Brody Hahn was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and one triple. Loganville Christian Academy is undefeated when Hahn posts two or more runs, but 0-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Landon Mcbain, who scored three runs while going 1-for-1.

Loganville Christian Academy hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive games.

Riverside Military Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Loganville Christian Academy, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 3-9.
