Baseball Recap: Seckinger Takes a Loss

The Seckinger Jaguars came up short against the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines on Monday and fell 6-2.

Seckinger handed starting duties to Landon Niemotka, who gave a strong showing despite the result: he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits.

Seckinger's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Prince Avenue Christian, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Seckinger wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-3 win against Forsyth Central on the 18th. As for Prince Avenue Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-1 loss against McEachern on the 20th.
