Soccer Recap: Sanger West Comes Up Short

Sanger West fell victim to Hoover and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Hoover Patriots, falling 3-0. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Sanger West's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for Hoover, their win bumped their record up to 6-8-2.

Sanger West will challenge Fresno at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hoover, they will take on Sunnyside at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sunnyside will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Hoover surely won't give up without a fight.
