Softball Recap: Lutheran Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Lutheran duked it out with Westminster Christian on Tuesday. The Cougars lost 11-1 to the Wildcats. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Westminster Christian, they pushed their record up to 7-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lutheran will host Lindbergh at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westminster Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lafayette at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
