Meanwhile, Mater Dei Catholic's game on Saturday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. Everything went their way against Montgomery as Mater Dei Catholic made off with a 5-1 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Crusaders needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

Their offense was hitting Montgomery from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Steele Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 3-2-2. As for Mater Dei Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2-1.
