Bethany Christian is 8-1 against LaVille since August of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bruins are headed away from home for the first time to square off against the Lancers at 5:30 p.m.

Bethany Christian is leaving town to face LaVille after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Bruins lost 3-0 to Jimtown on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-14, 25-14.

Meanwhile, LaVille posted their closest victory since September 10, 2024 on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Argos.

LaVille took Argos into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-15, 25-22, 27-29, 15-8.

Bethany Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over LaVille when the teams last played back in August of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
