If Cherokee Bluff beats Jefferson with 15 runs on Thursday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Bears' pitchers stepped up to hand West Hall a 15-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Lillie Diehl made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in September of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Audrey Graham, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in September of 2024. Hailey Hemmings was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Cherokee Bluff kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

The home team had won the previous two meetings between Jefferson and East Hall, and Jefferson kept the tradition alive. The Dragons blew past the Vikings 12-0 on Tuesday. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Cherokee Bluff's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 20-1.
