Christian Brothers lost to Edwardsville back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Cadets never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Christian Brothers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 30th in Missouri, while Edwardsville are ranked 86th in Illinois).

The win made it two in a row for Christian Brothers and bumps their season record up to 8-5-1. As for Edwardsville, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 8-6-1.
