Football Recap: Raymore-Peculiar Takes a Loss

Raymore-Peculiar and Ozark squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Raymore-Peculiar had to settle for second. They took a 27-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Panthers came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 56th, while the Tigers are ranked 215th).

Raymore-Peculiar dropped their record down to 0-10 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Ozark, they moved to 3-7 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Raymore-Peculiar does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ozark, they will square off against Nixa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups.
