Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, North's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Redondo Union by a score of 49-46. The matchup marked the Saxons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

North's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 15-2. As for Mark Keppel, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.
