Athenian had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the seven-goal drubbing they dealt St. Joseph Notre Dame on Wednesday. The Owls were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Pilots. Considering Athenian have won five matchups by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting St. Joseph Notre Dame from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Landon Krug led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.
