Soccer Recap: Johansen Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Johansen can now relate to. They came up short against the Tracy Bulldogs on Friday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Johansen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 569th, while Tracy are ranked 40th).

With the loss, Johansen broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 12-8-2. As for Tracy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.

Johansen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tracy, they will challenge Rio Americano at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
