Football Recap: Canton-Galva Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Canton-Galva's offense. They took a blow against the Little River Redskins on Friday, falling 68-0. The Eagles have struggled against the Redskins recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Jaxson Konen had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 55 yards and one score, while also throwing for 28 yards and one TD for Little River. Konen showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 55 yards. Jake White got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Canton-Galva now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Little River, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Canton-Galva will look to defend their home field on Friday against Central Plains at 7:00 p.m. As for Little River, they will head out on the road to face off against Ell-Saline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
