Clarkston faced Wheeler in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Angoras sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Wildcats. This was a revenge game for the Angoras: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in March, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Clarkston got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 22-23, 15-13.
